Winners of the Yard of the Month award are selected nine months of the year, April through December, on the basis of color, care, and creativity. Monochromatic (all green) yards with a variety of innovative shrubbery and plants are also eligible. Winners receive a $25 Calloway's Nursery gift voucher plus the honor of displaying the Yard of the Month sign for 30 days. Everyone has an opportunity to receive the award since a home can only win once every two years. Current HOA Board members are not eligible. Elaine Stebbins volunteers to check yards several times a month and welcomes any suggestions or nominations. |
